With a passion for life and a desire to see others succeed, Lindsay is motivated to work in an environment where individuals and families will find success through advocacy and self-determination.
After returning to university as a mature student, Lindsay successfully acquired an honours bachelors degree in Child & Youth Studies from Brock university, graduating with first class honours. Having a solid understanding of human development from conception on is an imperative part in understanding the impacts of trauma throughout the life course. She then set her sights on a Masters degree, and was accepted to Wilfrid Laurier University, in the Master of Social Work program. During this time, Lindsay had the opportunity to train under mentor, Lori Gill, who created the Integrated Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM) which Lindsay implements in her trauma therapy practice. Lindsay is a registered master of social worker (RMSW), licensed to practice psychotherapy in the community. Lindsay is now committed to a career dedicated to helping others achieve their potential and overcome life’s hurdles by healing hearts and easing minds.
