As the founder and owner of Lindsay O'Neil Trauma & Psychotherapy, Lindsay has built a space in the community where individuals who live with the impacts of trauma, have support and space to heal. Lindsay is a registered master of social worker (RMSW), licensed to practice psychotherapy in the community.
Lindsay has trained under mentor, Lori Gill, who created the Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM) which Lindsay implements in her trauma therapy practice. This therapeutic model incorporates multiple different therapeutic modalities that are helpful in regulating the mind, body, and nervous system. Lindsay has supported clients who have experienced all types of trauma including, CPTSD, childhood abuse, intimate partner violence - including narcissistic abuse, adoption, incarceration, abortion, traumatic death/loss, separation/divorce and everything in between. Lindsay is now committed to a career dedicated to helping others achieve their potential and overcome life’s hurdles by healing hearts and easing minds.
Holly is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO) and has a Master of Counselling Psychology. She is passionate about helping you and your family achieve your goals and overcome life's challenges. Building a therapeutic relationship and having a good therapeutic fit is the most important aspect of Holly’s work. Throughout your therapeutic journey Holly will work with you to identify the root cause of your concerns and help create a roadmap to empower you to discover how to live your healthiest and most fulfilling life.
Throughout her career as a psychotherapist, Holly has worked with clients with ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Postpartum and Perinatal concerns, Interpersonal Relationship concerns, Disordered Eating, and more. She draws from a rich background and training in several evidence-based approaches including: Narrative therapy, DBT, CBT, Internal Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Emotion focused, Person-centred, and Art Therapy Interventions. When utilizing these therapeutic modalities, Holly ensures her work is client centred and focused on empowering you to make the changes that you would like to see in yourself.
Giving you the space to feel comfortable and open enough to discuss the most difficult moments in your life sets the stage for healthy collaboration throughout the therapeutic process. In your initial sessions, your reasons for seeking support, as well as what goals you want to achieve as a result of seeking therapy will be discussed.
Holly is committed to continuing her professional development through additional training courses. She has experience working with children, adolescents, families, couples, and individuals.
Nina is a registered Social Worker, licensed to practice Psychotherapy in the community. Nina holds a master’s in social work as well as a bachelor’s in social work and brings over 15 years of experience in the field. Her clients often describe her as supportive, calm, and grounded. Nina believes in encouraging growth through compassion and curiosity to help people reach your goals.
Nina is dedicated to creating a safe environment for everyone she works with. She has experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, and domestic or family violence. Nina’s training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and her interest in other modalities such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and talk therapy all inform her approach. Nina’s commitment to ongoing learning and professional development ensures that she stays informed about the latest research and best practices.
